The food is as good as the restaurants elsewhere. I loved the stir fry pea sprouts with mushrooms. Food comes out fast, efficient service. Din Tai Fung is located on level 5 departures, before you go through passport control.

We arrive here early morning, but already full of people. We order shredded chicken egg fried rice 雞絲 蛋炒飯. And hot soya drink. It take quite a while waiting for the fried rice. Egg fried rice seems easy to make, but it take an experienced chef to make the dish stand out. This one is stand out. Yummy.. Highly recommend.

DTF has been my go-to for a long time. And since I am about to fly out that day, decided to grab a bit first in T1. Thankfully during lunchtime, although there are many people queuing but the line moves fast. And it was good that the staff already gave the menu, so we can choose our preferred dishes while waiting for our table. Since this is pre-flight, opted for their Crispy Shrimp & Chicken Wonton and Egg Fried Rice with Chicken Chop. Overall the dishes are always consistent wherever I ate which is a good thing. And the portion is quite hefty so easily shareable. Service was also quick and the staff was welcoming & kind. —located on the right side of T1 before going to Immigration

Vegetarian for 12 Years – Honest Review Food: 5/5 – Most of the vegetarian items on their menu are really tasty and worth trying. Highly recommended. This round I ordered the Spicy Vegetarian & Mushroom Wonton Noodle. The noodles have a nice “egg-like” aroma and a springy bite. The wontons paired with the mala sauce were incredibly delicious — absolutely seamless. Environment: 5/5 – Clean, neat, comfortable, and pleasant. Service: 5/5 – So far so good. No issues at all. Note: Most items are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Only the egg fried rice is not suitable for vegans or strict vegetarians.

Wanted a quick snack before clearing immigration for our flight and was glad that the restaurant is located nearby the check in counters. Service isn’t the best like I’ve experienced in other Din outlets as they don’t seem as welcoming. However, the food makes up for it. The dishes tasted great as per usual, with the fried items being crispy and not too oily. The stir fried French beans were also delicious, I will definitely order again the next visit.

Din Tai Fung at KLIA1 is a halal certified branch so it does not serve pork. The restaurant is part of the same renowned brand from Taiwan that many consider a must visit. Compared to the Pavilion branch which serves pork dishes the KLIA1 outlet offers a fully halal menu. The variety is impressive ranging from dim sum soups noodles and fried rice to an array of stir fried and à la carte dishes. Prices are on the higher side especially since it is located in the airport but the quality is consistent with Din Tai Fung’s reputation where food is refined well managed and delicious. For the best experience it is recommended to dine with a group and order different dishes to share so you can enjoy a wider range of flavours. Overall I think is a refined dining option at KLIA1 with diverse halal friendly choices excellent taste and top quality food management though expect premium pricing.

Went for dinner w my family just before sending our parents off last Thursday. We had a splendid time being served by Mr. Hafizzudin there from start to finish & made us laugh. It was already a long day for us but people like him makes it memorable and enjoyable to eat there. His recommendations made the experience better for us. Shoutout to him! Didn’t get to take the photos because we were hungry all in all, food was also great & left with a happy tummy!
